Last Vote About The Ultra Spinnable Articles? I Hope So ;)
As I said yesterday, there are more members than I would have thought who don’t want to have daily product reviews.
The latest results are:
52 members voted for option 1 (Daily Reviews)
20 voted for option 2 (Keep membership as it is).
After reading all the comments it seems that everyone agrees that increasing the quality is a good thing (no more editing). We can do this at the cost of having more members (the limit is still extremely low compared to the number of unique variations we have with the articles, so we will still be able to produce thousands of unique content per member per day).
Some of those who voted for option 2 made this choice because they don’t want reviews, they want better quality but with general IM related articles.
So today I need your opinion (once again) but this time about the kind of articles we will produce.
To help you in your decision, here are 2 articles written by the new team, a general one and a review (both are already spinnable articles).
Article 1 – Product Review

Killer Tactics to Build Your Email List
If you are someone who’s trying to market a product on the Internet, you know how important it is to have your own email list to generate long term profits. The biggest advantage of building your own list of targeted subscribers is the control you have over the profits. A responsive list can be your cash cow and give you income for years, which is a good enough reason to not ignore this aspect of your business. However, the majority of the people who try their hand at building an email list fail to do so effectively or just choose the hard way that takes a long time. Well, the good news is that there are certain list building tactics out there, which are not only easy to implement but also give good results.
The list building tactic that is widely used and is highly successful involves using a free gift to bribe someone to join your list. Just about anyone who comes across your offer can sign up for your email list and get their free gift delivered to their mailbox. Many first time marketers make the mistake of sending out a free gift that is common or is being given away by many other marketers. This makes you lose your individuality and there’s nothing different about it. And there are other marketers who give away free gifts that don’t really live up to expectations because they’re out of date or low quality. So you have to keep in mind that your free gift has to deliver as per your promise on the landing page where they signed up. Before you put up any give away, go through it yourself and make sure it is good quality, relevant and isn’t outdated. If you can, try purchasing some PLR material and send that as a gift, it can definitely give you back good returns.
Many online marketers who are just starting with the list building game make an assumption that they can build an email list in their target market and do nothing. One fine day they wake up and send their list over-hyped sales pitch. Yes, you do mean business when you’re building a list but you also need to learn to respect your subscribers, and build a strong relationship with them. This simply means staying in touch with them by providing quality information at least once a week. This could be a free download of an ebook, report, audio, video, or whatever you feel will add value. By building a relationship with your list, you invariably give out quality, which is one of the most important components of successful list building.
If you can’t wait to build your list and want to speed up the process, then a good idea would be to get into Ad Swaps. There are many good, quality ad swap communities on the web that you can use for your list building purposes, which skyrocket your subscribers number. All you need to do is find a marketer who is in the same market as you are and directly approach him asking for an ad swap, and if he says yes, send him the ad copy that you want him to shoot out to his list of subscribers. Your joint venture partner will then give you his ad to send out to your list. Then you just need to get decided on a time and date when you both will be sending out each others ad and that’s about it. The more ad swap partners you work with, the bigger your list will grow; it’s as simple as that.

Thanks and I do hope this is the last survey
Ok I have voted for the both option biased towards the IM general.I know this is a bit of a U Turn from my arguements in the last survey but one person posted a point that made me rethink my previous reasoning. Which was how the acceptance rate would be for Reviews on the blog networks that many of us use. This doesn't mean that I don't see the obvious advantages of using review articles for a passive income stream it just means that I am thinking more of the advantages for all of us and any future subscribers rather than being selfish and thinking only of my own benefits (I apologise for that).I do have one further request tho Vita and it is with regard to the titles. I know that you had them increased fro 5 to 10 which is great but this still only leaves us with 10 titles and yes we can edit them ourselves but I think perhaps it would be possible to have some internal spining in them as well to give us more variables that would really benefit us all.Regards Ron
Hey Ron,Thanks for the vote. About the titles question the new articles have 25 variations
Regards
Haha ,Open Mouth insert Foot lolGood news .Regards Ron
Oh Vita,I forgot to add if you need some to do some more testing with those two articles you used as examples above I'm your man lol.Regards Ron
I voted for “BOTH But More General IM Articles). My main reasons for this:1 – Acceptance Rate – will be much better for more general articles (as Ron also mentions)2 – Durability (a product review about a non-succesful or aged product will rarely get visited – which leads to fewer indexed versions and odler cache dates – whereas more general IM articles are better at attracting some visitors and staying in Goggles primary index.A few wishes on my part:A) More spinning of Titles. Add some internal spinning like Ron mentions – having each title in 100 variations would be great! B) Have the targeted keywords listed at the top of the articles (above the title).C) Add a short 3 sentence spun teaser/summary to the articles (max 40-50 words)RegardsDon
Hi Vita Vee,Both articles are very well written. I only found 2 minor errors! I don't understand why some of your subscribers prefer the generic articles over the quality articles? I would much rather have articles that people can read easily and be excited to click on my link and buy one of my products. With good quality articles you get backlinks and traffic! With poor articles you only get backlinks. To me it's a no-brainer!! I also think you should have posted a survey for 1/2 IM and 1/2 Product reviews. Thanks, Dave
Dave,I thought that as well on the previous survey until some I forget who now made an observation that kind of made some sense and changed my mind on just having all product reviews.I don't know if this applies to you but some of us use blog networks like MAN now the articles you submit here go onto peoples blogs as a way of having fresh content now I obviously can't speak for all blog owners but I have 1-2 or of my blogs set up to recieve articles from similar networks and I screen the articles being submitted at least once a week because I only want good quality articles and no duplication so heres the problem. No matter how much you spin an article for a specific IM product it is still a review of one product and I know that if I suddenly had more than one copy of a review for a specific product I would delete all but one.So whilst yes they are great and can create a nice passive income stream when you have got potentially 300 people submitting a review for the same product on or around the same day/week you are going to raise all sorts of flags and potentially have your article removed which means no backlinks.Thats my take on it and the reason that I voted for a mix but biased towards the general IM articles .Regards Ron
Oh just to add to that I am all in favour of a higher quality and I don't think that was the major issue in the previous survey, because everyone would agree that better quality is needed, the major issue was the type of article.Regards Ron
Hey Ron, Thanks for your comment. One of the main reasons I like the product reviews is because they would be great to use on my websites without having to do too much work. Whichever way this survey goes, whether it is more IM or more product reviews, I will be happy. Those other articles we are getting now are not very well written and that's the bottom line for me. Thanks, Dave
I voted for “BOTH But More General IM Articles.” My preference is the same as some others though… I would prefer to have a 50/50 mix as much as possible. No need to count but say a different mix every other day.Am I wrong when I say that the minimum requirement is that each article would need to be at least 35% unique to submit to some of the second tier Article sites. If that is true, and I seldom have a unique test that is less than 75% the system seems to be very workable. I most always tweak the title because it is the most likely part of the spun articles that will be duplicated somewhere. The quality of these articles is superior to most first hand written articles. I'm anxious to give it a go and see if it truly will reduce or eliminate my personal editing time.Donald
Vita, here in the USA we have been debating a national health insurance bill for almost a year. There is always substantial number of voters not satisfied with whatever is proposed. The result is a complete mess.In this case you are never going to get even close to 100% approval for anything you propose. The first vote of 50 to 20 showed an overwhelming endorsement of proposition #1. It seems to me that if you tried #1 for a few months & it is not liked you hear plenty of criticism. You can always change it again. I initially voted for #2 but now I have seen the light & prefer #1 so it is now at least 51-19. I think you should trash the current poll & go with the flow on your first poll. Once it in effect the vast majority will love it.
I agree with Bill. Majority Rules!
Hi Vita, if we have such a good quality I prefer 100% IM General articles, I'm sure to use them all. Thanks.Anne
Hi VitaI recommend keeping the service as it isThe problem with product reviews is that there will be limited places where they will be accepted and also it will be limited in variety of networks that we can create with these kinds of reviews. I would prefer to keep the service as it Thanks
Ron I keep these articles in a secure place instead
They will be broadcasted to the members when the new service starts running so I can't even use them myself yet (if I could I would use them right now
)
Hi Don,Thanks for the 3 ideas. We will not be able to do this at the beginning but after everything runs smoothly that would indeed be a great thing to implement them.RegardsVV
“I also think you should have posted a survey for 1/2 IM and 1/2 Product reviews.”No need for this option because the ratio of IM articles over Product reviews will depend on the percentage of members voting for each one. So if 20 members for example prefer more reviews than general articles and 20 members prefer more general articles than reviews then we will have 1/2 of each. Hope this makes sense
About the required uniqueness levels for the article sites, I have not found any information about this anywhere, hard to say what percentage of duplicate content triggers their filters. But I'm pretty sure that we are way above their requirements.
Right and this is what I'm going to do with this last survey. The problem with the previous one is that there were 3 variables and only 2 possible answers (the variables were: quality + number of slots + reviews or general articles). Thanks to the comments it generated we know that the new number of slots is not an issue and that the increase in quality is welcomed by everyone. The only thing that was not clear was the type of articles and this is why this new survey is needed.
Hi Anne,Thanks for your vote. The results are coming soon
Hi MikeThanks for your opinion. When you say, keep it as it is, you mean keeping the current articles with the current quality or keep general articles?
I mean keep the general articlesI hope this is ok
Hi.Just to clear up:I voted for a mix of General IM articles and Product reviews, mostly general IM, but I will be also very happy with 100% general IM articles of the quality in your example.Don
Sorry, I can't stand when people don't read and go over information that is not the issue anymore. General articles or review. simple. Vita puts in a couple in-between , but there is no need for discussion here. Bill, I don't think anyone ever was looking for 100%. But, if we where to follow your lead.. The terms that we bought this membership where in writing and to be carried out as such. The terms where, the sales letter stated, and the discussion was of general articles in the IM (notice not just review, IM) niche. So LIKE THE USA WHERE The powers that be are trying to shove something down my throat that I don't want, don't need, and is going to put this country into bankruptcy, you're saying that because the majority voted for #1 that's how it goes. PLEASE REMEMBER, majority rules, whats best for the group are SOCIALIST WAYS OF THINKING. I got no problems with this, besides it's just not for me. I do not have a problem with changing what was agreed in my contract. I think it would be better to have better quality and only at the sacrifice of a few more members. No problem but,To even dare to say my vote doesn't count when I was in the minority, and the main reason for that was because the question just wasn't that simple. We where missing a variable that needed to be addresses. It has been addressed and now we can see the outcome.By the way, to finish with what you started with health care in the USA. IT'S TO BAD THAT OUR GOVERNMENT COULDN'T LEARN SOMETHING FROM THIS FORUM. DONT TRY TO PASS SOMETHING JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN. THEN BASICALLY SAY SCREW THE PEOPLE, THAT'S WHAT I WANT.I'll finish here before I really start getting made (not about here, but my country
and it lack of leaders at present ). Improve quality = goodmore members = okthe rest shall be seen.
Hi VitaVee,I'm not sure why, but my articles have 5 titles instead of 10… :SToday's article had 6.Are there supposed to be 10 variations?Oh, and also, I think MAN doesn't accept too many variations in the title field from my testing…
Is there any possibility to have the new types of articles without needing to expand to 300 members?
I'm worried that the MAN blog network will break down… They only have 10,000 blogs…Oh, I didn't vote because anything will do for me, as long as I have some articles, I'm of no preference.
But if in the end we get product review articles, I hope you will provide a way to insert our affiliate link easily for the product it is reviewing, so we don't have to go to Clickbank and search for it… If it is possible.
Hi Infinity,I just checked and you're right! The current team only wrote 5 titles in the latest articles even though they had to write 10 :-/The new ones will have 25 though. About the number of title variations and MAN: I didn't have any problem with them, I just checked with 25 variations and it worked
No other possibility except increasing the price to $231 per month per member
About the aff links this would not be good to have them placed everytime on the same location for all members, it's better if all of us place them where we want I think.
Ok so here are the results:ONLY Product Reviews: 2 Votes(3%)ONLY General Articles: 4 Votes(7%)BOTH But More Product Reviews: 23 Votes(41%)BOTH But More General Articles: 27 Votes(48%)So it's clear that the majority wants both type of articles but with more general articles than reviews.Let's merge the votes into 2 groups:ONLY General Articles + BOTH But More General Articles = 4+27 = 31ONLY Product Reviews + BOTH But More Product Reviews = 2+23 = 2555.4% want more general articles44.6% want more reviewsSo we will create about 55% of general articles and 45% of reviews starting from 1st of February
